Polished calipers?!?!

Theoretically, the surface has to be black and rough for best heat dissipation.
I don't think any type of caliper surface coating will affect it's temperature in any tangible way.

Polishing calipers reduces surface area by 50%..and surface area is critical for heat dissipation....

As example;

Intake manifold exteriors are not polished becsuse it would significantly diminish surface area, thus its ability to dissipate heat. Smoothing/polishing internal intake runners surfaces reduce heat dissipation into the intake stream. (A good thing)

Really like the polished look, but not diminished heat dissipation....
