prolly someone who purchased new can clarify, online it shows the euro sport listing for $800, to include 18" rims. It also shows the 18" rims, to be $800. That doesn't sound right but who knows, various sources show that.
18" rims is option FT, euro tuned is SP.
One source shows euro tuned to be $220. If I had to guess, I would think 18" is the first step @ $800, an extra $220 is the 2nd step, and with the $220, the tires go from all season to summer only...
according to this either package is still $800

Thanks - I saw the same thing. A little confusing, but I bet you're right. I don't know if I've ever seen an 06 with the "Sport" badge though, so they're even harder to spot.

If you get a chance, drive an LS w the standard suspension. Easy to tell the difference. Sport has a firmer ride, gives more road feedback and corners noticeably better. I guess it's possible to remove the badges altho I don't see why anyone would want to. Aren't 18's stock for an 06?

Still fairly new to the 430 world....
I did notice the firmer ride right away but I just assumed it was attributed to the lower profile tires. When shopping for tires after typing in 2006 it would show 17" and 18" as my options so I'm not sure if 18" is standard for '06 or not. I replaced the rear struts a couple weeks ago with Lexus parts using Sport Susp specific part numbers. When I was dong the work I measured the diameter of the rear sway bar, it's 14mm, and thought to myself WOW that's a small sway bar for a car with Sport Suspension! I later found out the stock sway bar is 13mm diameter...

my information is sport suspension $800 (SP), sport suspension with chrome wheels $2,500 (SX). other options are 18 inch all season tires $800 (FT) 18 inch chrome wheels with all season tires $2,500 (FK) . chrome wheels $1,700 (TI). this is for 2006 year model. if 17 inch wheels were still standard by 2006 I do not know, but almost al 2006 year cars are on the 18 inch wheels as far as I know.

There was one source which listed the euro sport @ $220, that would make sense, that you order 18" summer tires for $800, then add another $220 to get sport. Kind of doesn't make sense that the 18" rims and 18" rims with sport are the same price, but this was a long time ago....a window sticker would reveal all. My hunch is there aren't that many euro sports because they had summer tires. This would mean the owner needs snows if they want to drive at temps <= 37F. If the avg. buyer was in their 60's, it would stand to reason many don't want that.......
