Default Thanks for all the years!

Thanks to this forum and its members, for all the wonderful years of LS430 ownership. Without this community I would not have had as much fun in owning a car I didn't really want in the first place. I sold my LS430 last evening and it is off to a very nice family for its next chapter. I was served well through 165K miles. I only hope my few contributions along the way here in this forum helped out a few as much as you all have helped me out over the last 11 years.
Thanks again,
Randy B

As they say... "All good things come to an end". It's good to know the car will be appreciated by another person.

Trying to work out a deal on a GS F. I'm finding out AutoNation sucks to deal with, and their new no haggle policies are horrible. Just a matter of whether to go new or CPO. I'm patient and in no rush.

I just bought a '17 ES two weeks ago in Atlanta at ~20% below MSRP. Granted the GS F is in higher demand, but I found the Atlanta dealerships (there are 6 of them) very eager to move inventory (and to compete with each other for business, which I used to my advantage!). You might consider reaching out to their internet departments since you're only 1 state away.

I came out of two Mercedes prior to the LS430. A 1999 E430 and a 2003 E500. I bought the LS430 on a lark, and it's been the car I loved to hate ever since. Never had the seat of the pants feel of the Mercedes V8s, nor the tight suspension feel, all though the sport suspension was close. The damn thing just never broke. I sold it with 165K miles. One fuel pump under warranty, and one door lock actuator. I fixed the actuator myself for $15.00 in parts, and the rest was maintenance along the way. At this point in my life a GS F will fit nicely until I retire, and then the Porsche will be purchased in addition to be a weekend car. Long shot but, are you near Brookfield by chance?

Thanks,
Randy B

Brookfield is 60 minutes from work. I am sure the F will be awesome.
