I know I am of the minority, but my policy is kids don't get a car. Nobody has been able to explain to me where this came from. Not even my wife's BFF who gave their kids a 3 y.o. Accord and a 5 y.o. Pilot. I asked how can a HS student be "given" a Pilot? She said oh it's nothing, it's 5 y.o. This makes absolutely no sense to me. I shoulda asked at my kid's parents' night yesterday if the other parents would be getting their kids cars in the future (maybe they don't know as the kids are 3)

Prices are starting to drop on the 2010-2012 LS460 and there will probably be good deals to had over the next year or so with the LS500 coming out. Heck in two years the price of the 2013+ LS460 will probably be down in my price range. My goal would be to have an 2013+ LS460L with the 2010-2012 5-spoke wheels but I could easily work with a 2010-2012 as well.
No exaggeration, This car performed flawlessly on that 800 mile trip. It was more comfortable than the 400 and 430. Being an L helps with the comfort since it allows for extra leg room. I don't know a lot about the 460 other than the research I did when I made up my mind that I was getting one but in both the the 400 and 430 I got sun glare and heat from the front window on on hot sunny days. I was surprised that I did not feel the heat or get blinded by the sun once. The power is instant and smooth. I really like this car. I am getting a slight clicking on slow turns and parking though. From what I have read it might be controls arms ( I already accounted for this issue if it arises ), wheel bearing, ball joints or it needs new brake hardware. Either way I'm pleased with the purchase.

The wife is doing PT twice a week.

I saw your post in the 460 forum. Man that was a close call. I need to look into the dash cams but I really want one that has parking mode.

The 430 did it's job well and I'm forever grateful.
