Default is there a bra for the 2005 LS430 ?

My bumper cover got messed up when I hit a truck, and very very happy that no one was hurt. I t-boned a delivery truck that crossed in front of me. I didn't see until after I hit him.
My local Lexus dealer told me they can not order a new cover from Lexus and that I need to find one myself ..... wtf ??????

The 430 disabled the delivery truck and he had to be towed away. His passenger side wheel was bent and his car was leaking some fluids ....
The LS drives fine. I love this car .... it has knock out power !
Seriously, can I get a bra for my LS ... I can do the body work easily but not the paint .
I will post pictures later .. to show off my body work lol

Go to autoanything.com. They have lots of bras, etc. I purchased a Colgan bra and mirror covers years ago and they fit perfectly for my 2004 LS430 UL. They would also fit your 2005.

I probably will have no choice. not a big fan of the look, but I am going to have to hide the bumper.

I bought one that covers the front of the hood and goes above the headlights. I like it alot. It's nice for those road trips but since I commute everyday, I leave it on most of the time. It's the same as the upper half of JayClapp's bra.

Thanks for the picture .... Looks OK .... I'd rather buy one than spend $ 2,000 on bodywork and paint IF I can find a used front bumper.

Not sure how much lighter but they do have the same in carbon fiber which appears to be a tad lighter.

Frankly, I like the look.

Is it a pain to install? Does it stay tight at speed? I've had bra's on a couple of older beemers but they flapped a tad at 80+....I know I know, but 80 is legal on 10 in Texas and 90 is OK anywhere near Houston... That is just keep in line speed 😇

Mine stays tight at all speeds. Also, the air deflectors help keep rocks off the windshield as well.

Default Just fitted my 2006

Colgan Bra

http://www.autoanything.com/car-bras...ODXBoCxirw_wcB

Received mine on time a few weeks ago.
Just got around to putting it on.

1. The hood piece literally fits like a glove. Perfect and easy to R&R if the desire strikes.
2. The lower bumper section required some custom fitment.
a. I had to remove the fender rim trim two front Phillips screws, one at a time. Then bend the tab to a flat shape. Stretched the cover and measured where a hole needed to be drilled in the tab to align with the trim holes that were already there. Bent the tabs to shape of the wheel flare and affixed with the same phillips screws.
b. The hood would not latch. Between the hood piece and the fender / bumper covers created just enough conflict for the hood latch to not engage. (Damn close though...good work from the factory shot lines). Loosened the hood latch assembly (3 10mm bolts...one under a plastic cover in the center). Doing so allowed just enough adjustment upwards to allow for the hood to close perfectly and the shot lines are still spot on.
c. The small plastic tabs that fit between the insides of the headlight and the bumper flange gave me pause until I realized that they could be slipped into the this space in a downward facing position.

Once all done.... really a nice bit of kit and imo, quite affordable at under $200. Frankly, I'm amazed at the quality for the price!

Thanks to Jayclapp for the heads up on these!

All the best

Had them on my selection of v-dubs when teaching skiing for 25 years. They worked on sanded roads.
Then on a few beemers.

While retro, these fit so darn well and the protection is obvious.
But I get it, yet my Bride thought that it gives "Serenity" some "attitude".

What is cool is that I can remove it now in less than 5 minutes. For long hauls.... I'll be glad that rock chips will be a thing from the teens.

All the best
