The indie used the 6PK2240, which is $14.73 on rock, and $17.25 on amazon....he charged me $25 I think......pretty sure this is made in USA...maybe the genuine Bando is made in Japan...(@ $76.23)

Somehow we've derailed this thread from it's original topic of overheating and radiator replacement to avoiding aftermarket hoses and then the smoke and mirrors involved in buying a belt !!!

I think it has to do with hoses rubbing the belt, which relate to overheating and also related to the replacement of the radiator, but I could be wrong, often am.....I mean with this car, it seems all roads lead back to timing belt/water pump....

Doing a timing belt replacement every 90,000 mile is one of my least worries. Too many enjoyable miles in between!
