I see aftermarket OE parts going two ways....if you go to dealers or parts.com on the web, you get about 31% off list, and pay for shipping. this is an alternative unless your local dealer will give you 30%+ off (can't hurt to ask).
Otherwise, eBay has legit OE parts for < 50% of list. As I understand it, this is because of the distribution channels, for lack of a better word, gray market. But they are legit parts, not knockoffs. An eBay power seller explained this to me, that if they source from Japan, they can offer very cheaply online. If sourced from USA, much more, and they are a legit distributor of Japanese OE parts. This is what I've learned since owning a LS430. Just go by 99.x% positive feedback and tens of thousands of feedback to determine a seller is legit. They have their own websites and sell the same part for significantly more.
When I was considering a new b-pillar on the driver side interior, all the used ones were of course the passenger side, so the only choice would have been dealer with 31% off, which I wasn't willing to pay. Do you know the p/n for that door, it would be the place to start....good luck

p.s this may be what you're looking for, I don't see it used online. B1 is gray, A1 is ecru, A2 ivory, C0 black. At $414 list, I'd keep looking for eBay or used, again it would be priced too high for my wallet...![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
just noticed your car is older, the part may be different, but you get the idea, search on these sites to confirm the p/n
parts.com is a little less expensive, and I've used them, legit....
