This is for sale near me. Higher miles, but some nice add-ons. Tempted to offer $2,600 and see how desperate to sell they are.

No VIN, so can't tell any history.

LOL...Cypress Pearl is not always a "Love it or Hate it" color because I neither love it or hate it but I'm okay with it. After my '04 was totaled I immediately started looking for another LS430. Looked at a couple that seemed okay on paper and pics but was not what I wanted at all. Found my '05 Cypress with 110k and even though I wasn't crazy about the color it was a one owner with all the major stuff done at Lexus (timing belt, water pump, brakes, etc). So, I looked past the color and bought it for $10.5k (about 5 moths ago) because it was in reasonable shape. I did have have to do some work like replacing two door actuators, battery, tires, trunk shocks, steering wheel but I was able to switch most of that with my totaled car so I wasn't really out any money, only my labor to do it all.

My wife gave me a hard time for jumping on a car so quick after mine was totaled but I'm glad I did. It's been a solid car even if it's not my first (or second, or third) color choice.

Sounds like a good compromise. A reasonably low mileage one owner that's been maintained is hard to find these days. Also a good price. Congrats, it sounds like this one turned out pretty well. I like CP but the main reason I bought my 04 because it was a one owner, regular dealer service, Sport w/ 103. Also the seller had done all service and any repairs (TB, LCA's, driver's mirror, both door locks, new Lexus ML amp, etc). I would have settled for other color combos because of the car's condition.

By the way, Cypress Pearl is actually a mold. Scrape carefully and there's Flint Mica underneath

Similar to Clark Kent taking off his clothes...

You guys are hilarious....... The "best color", of course, is the one you own....... Everyone else got it wrong.....

That might be worth it just for parts. Id say buy it, drive it for as long as it lasts then if something expensive pops up part it and maybe make a few dollars.

Dec. of 2015 my wife and I went to Dallas to look at a few LS430's from various dealers. The independent dealers only had junk. A Ford dealer had a piece of junk and only by luck did we find one at Lexus Plano that only 2 hours before came in as a trade in. It was a 2005 base with 105,000. Very well maintained and after a bit of haggle we drove off with it 2 hrs later.

Willing to admit that I did much the same. I put a deposit on a car that I had not seen.

They knew.... Fish on.

Pix later and I'm driving an 06 that I wanted. Perfect? No.

Fast quiet and reliable, oh yeah

Good pick

I have been emailing back/forth with the owner. He is the 2nd owner. They purchased with 50k miles from the closest Lexus dealer and have driven to the current mileage. Timing belt/water pump done at 203,000 with documents.

No check engine light. It sounds like it might need tires soon. The hood shocks/supports are shot he said, so that would be on the list.

I should just walk away, but even with 230k miles, the price is good for the kind of car you are getting. Sigh.

What is the lowest anyone has paid for a "good" condition LS 430?
