Exhaust tips!!!
Ok so I'm new here and the future owner of an 06 ls430 (picking it up Friday). I want to put exhaust tips on it but don't know what dimensions I should be looking for... I know this is a very noob question but what size tips should I be looking for? I don't want to order something that's not compatible.

Wait until you get the car. The design on the 3rd Gen LS do not easily lend to adding exhaust "tips" ...... (at least for our '01 and likely '02 and '03 as well). The '04-06 years may have options but the pictures I have seen have had new bumpers (after market body kits) to accommodate them.

Here's my 05 w/ Magnaflow 35121 tips. Got them off amazon for $60. I have a custom exhaust w/ cutouts and no resonators or secondary cats but I still have the stock muffler. Tips went onto the stock mufflers pretty easily they just had to cut the tips down on the inlet side but they don't stick out at all! I love the way they look it really makes the back end of the car.

Tips on my old exhaust were 5" I believe (listed as diesel tips for trucks). My exhaust shop had to shave down the plastic on the under side of my bumper but wasn't noticeable since that part was black.

Thanks! My car is lowered on BC Racing Coilovers and I also have 15mm spacers up front and 25mm in the rear. As of now I’ve raised the car up a half inch since I took that picture but it still has a really aggressive stance and rides as good as stock!
