Nav/Radio/CD control head not working. HELP.

Nav/Radio/CD control head not working. HELP.
Not a real good job of describing issue and kind of rambling. Not sure what the proper term for the master touch screen is, calling it the control head.
Yesterday driving into work my phone would not connect through the USA Spec BT45. No big deal, won't connect on the drive home either. Control head was doing some really goofy stuff like turning off for no reason and then turning back on. Disconnected battery overnight to do a hard reset. After reconnecting battery the issues I am having is the BT45 still does not connect. The entire control head unit did a mystery power cycle on the drive, the radio/cd is super quiet have to turn it up to max to even hear. But when I turned the car on it was super loud saying "bluetooth connected".
Did I fry the control head? Is the amp blown? Give me a direction to start with.
