Comfortable Coilovers

I have 14kg in the front and 12 kg in the rear, Gee44.
Thank you, Yoitskenn. I like the extreme drop, but it's lower than I expected so I have no clue what I'll be doing for wheels.

I installed Bilstein coilovers and adjusted them just low enough to get the hose nozzle between the fender and the top of the tires in order to clean out the wheelwells.which is a must if they salt the roads in the wintertime. Also I wanted to make sure my wintertires would have enough clearance..
The ride is now just like my old 735i, smooth, well planted

sorry to revive but I am a new ls430 owner looking to go lower.
really want the tein CS but since they are D/C'd can any coilover users give me alternatives that preserve ride
I've used fortune autos with swift springs on previous cars- thought they were just okay nothing fancy.
how about the tanabes?

coilovers
this is a tough question to answer since no outsider knows what you like. If someone would recommend brand x and you install it you might feel they are too stiff or too soft for your liking.
if possible try to find one who has coilovers and drive that particular car(s). Once installed you most likely are stuck with it, so take your time and research.
It is not just lowering the car but check out what it will do to the ride quality. Lower it too much and you will run into fender clearance problems, especially with wintertires and packed snow in the wheelwells
