Ouch... that is sad news on the car. Hope everyone is OK and the car protected them.

It does seem to have changed since the cars have gotten older yet another year...I thought that in 2016 it was easy to find cars in the 60k miles range, just that the prices were a little steep (a dealer near me wanted $22,900 hahahahahahahaha), so I settled in the 80s instead. Not only do prices seem reduced in 2017 heading into 2018, but the overall mileages are much higher. 80k would be pretty good today, it only seemed fair to be in 2016. Many cars in the 100's, but then again, does it really matter if these are potentially 300k cars...

Can't help but wonder was that moonlight pearl car really the best in the western hemisphere, it only lasted days online, not sure if anyone took a snapshot, it had low miles and low price and being sold in NJ at a Lexus dealership..this was probably early 2017 (I'm probably making this up but maybe 38k miles and $14,800? but 5 owners on carfax, some say that's not 5 owners, that's a dealership taking the title)

edit: come to think of it, it was probably this time in 2016, because they had put a giant bow on the car in the showroom...

South Florida treats our LS430 gently despite to proximity to ocean. I have a chance to compare these cars that were running in NY, Pennsylvania and Florida, and let me tell you - it really depends on the environment and salt on the road. Here in south florida I have zero rust problems with LS430. Rust never comes and i live next to the ocean. Honestly, i do not know why.

Unless the car was kept near the Gulf/beach uncovered, then I would say that Naples/Ft Myers are great areas to try and find an LS430. Have had a place there for years and the cars stay nice, especially if the owners garaged them.

My dad just traded in his 05 LS 430, 55k miles, Flawless, charcoal exterior black interior. It’s now for sale at Plano Parkway Lexus (Dallas) for 17k. There’s more Lexus per capita in Dallas than anywhere I have ever been. Also home to the largest Lexus dealership in the country.

I have been looking for an '06 black on black ultra luxury for 3 months straight lol. I'm close to giving up as I really do need to buy another car. Its slim pickings out there in my color range. Everytime I come across a pristine black one it has beige or gray interior which I do not want. Now I'm kicking myself for letting an '05 Silver with black ultra with 97,000 miles on it for only $9700 at a local volvo dealer. Should have just picked it up and painted but eh what you gonna do. I have searched every site known to man on the internet.

. I believe that the title for the largest Lexus dealership in the world goes to JM Lexus here in Florida. I’m no expert but they are huge and are expanding further as they need more room for their operation.
