That's the most logical place. You'll have to get in the habit of draining that can every so often...

I am trying to find a place to fit it in the engine bay and i would like to say i honestly have no idea were to mount it maybe on the fire wall? The engine bay is super cramped and i just glanced at it real quick

That video link I sent you showed the guy with the Land cruiser and he mounted it on the firewall. No doubt, there's more room in that engine bay, vs. an LS, but if you keep looking you'll find a place. I would keep it below the plane of the PCV valve, however.. Just to keep the fluid flow in the right direction.

Since you have the covers off, I wonder if there is any such thing or anything to be gained with a composite intake.....my cousin was doing a starter on a CR-V (lots of parts to remove incl. cooling), and he tossed the intake aside as if it were nothing, and it was composite on a 2005. I guess our cars are 2000 technology...

I wonder if anyone makes this in plastic and it if would have any effect....I would expect all the new cars (even a 2005 CR-V) to have the manifold made of a composite material because it's smooth on the inside....

I believe that if it was plastic it would not be as effective in dispersing heat as the aluminum one, and lexus did it for performance reasons in my opinion.

It catches the blow by from your piston rings that get reicurculated into your intake track, in doing this it "cleans" up air that is going back into your intake.

Ok so update

Bad news i went to install it today stupid dip***** napa employee gave me 1/2 inch instead of 3/8ths tubing so i wasted $15 and they wont refund cut to length tubing, so out $15.......I should have not been in such a rush and checked to make sure it was the correct tubing.

Good news super easy to install i will post up pictures tomorow of it installed when i get the correct hose, also very cramped in the engine bay hard to find a place to put it i am installing it on the strut tower bar passenger side as well as getting new nuts for it cause the ones supplied by bc for my coilovers were not wide enough and have been sketching me out lol

These things happen. Nothing is worse than spending money on parts you can't use. Important thing is, you learned something. If nothing else, keep that as a take away and move on. In a project like this, there's always some wasted money, somewhere..
