Unfortunately I will have to since before that I messed it up when try to fix the bad hood. I didn't notice since I covered the fender with tape. But I'll wait until I find a used one in the same color.

Just to illustrate, when my 4th gen Maxima's lower rad support dropped out from corrosion, body shop wanted $1700. Dealer would want even more. Some dudes working out of their parents' house fixed it for $130. haha these dudes would think nothing of replacing all my park assist sensors, they took the Maxima's front clip off. For someone who knows what they are doing, it's not the rocket science that the dealers and shops of the world make it out to be.
Thanks. I DIY everything since I really enjoy this kind of work.

Amazing amount of effort I like the drift stitching on the front bumper lol

Looking SOOO much better, keep up the good work and you will have a stellar example of this car. From the pics the color match is quite good and silver is very hard to match. I like how you are approaching this project. One step at a time. Have you priced either fixing the bumper or a used one and if not in the same color, have it painted locally?
I have the same silver on my car and the guy who did my spoiler (my friends father been doing body work for 50 plus years) said that the silver on lexuses in general is a ****** due to the additives they put in the paint. There color is determined by temperature, moisture etc.
Thanks, everything appears to be oem paint and I can't tell the difference. I have a bumper, just need to paint. I paint myself, one thing I've gotten really good at. I started off paint my project car with rattle cans. I have a proper setup now. Not sure if I can post other car makes here, but this was with rattle cans.
No kidding a GN???
Fantastic!
I've been a big G body fan for ages. Had a 1980 Malibu that I built with a 355 and a 700R4/3.73s in the rear.. Good times....
Nice progress. Was the car originally a ML system as far as the stereo is concerned?
Thanks and yes it is the ML system, still using the original speakers. I just tapped the subwoofer wires at the ML amp and used a low level converter for RCAs.
