X2... For being a cheap HF gun, it looks like it did a great job on the panels..

Yup, don't even have to clean them after just throw away and use the next one. Picked up 5 of them for 40 bucks during the Memorial Day sale. Got everything transferred to the "new" bumper. Had to clean up the chrome strip since I couldn't use the original one. Today I'll be spray paint the grille graphite gray with high gloss clear, should look good.

You're going to motivate me to get my bumper redone one of these days. It's probably the roughest part of my car with a few nicks and chips in it. Would love to get it redone and really buff out the fogs while they are off the bumper, or switch to JDM fogs.
Might have to check with a few body shops and see what the cost would be.
Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see it when it's done!!

Thanks. I think this weekend I'll have it done, just ordered a few parts from the sponsored dealer here.
To get it repaired and repainted, probably will cost 300-500. Cheaper if you prep it yourself. JDM fog bulbs or is there a different housing?

The JDM housing has sockets for two bulbs. One fog and I'm not sure what the other does. Would wire it up as a running light...

the other bulb in JDM fogs is a turn illuminating light, like the older 400s had. came on when you turned on the indicator to illuminate your turn... i think they did away with that for USDM 430s because of the ASC function

I wonder if you can tap into the AFS system to trigger a cornering light when turning the wheel..
Grille is done, came out really nice.

It is Duplicolor HWP102 wheel paint. I used the adhesion promoter first, then color and clear. I figured it would be less prone to chipping.
Got the front end gaps roughly adjusted. The hood need to come over a little bit but everything lines up. Once I put it all together I will try to make all gaps even. Also paint match is really not bad.

Out of curiosity, how do the little lower exterior pieces attach to the front fenders? The one that is missing on your last picture...

Two allen bolts in the wheel well and it just pulls off. There is an adhesive on the left side, you can use a heat gun to preserve it but I didn't.

No problem, got the dings on the hood ground down to metal. Next is body filler and primer.
