Default Considering Replacing my LS

Have a beautiful 2002 UL, silver, black, rosewood, factory chrome wheels) with 105,000 miles. I have every maintenance record (even keep a fuel log). Recently did a coil spring conversion, and I have a Vaistech iPod hookup with steering wheel controls and also have satellite radio. Car drives great, and looks great. I have taken care of the interior, keep it waxed often (Zymol). The center console leather has zero wear, because I have always kept a towel on it. For some reason I am having a little car fever. Have had it before and then just kept my car. Does anybody have an idea of what my car might be worth if I did sell it? I have seen values all over the place. If the resale is too low, I may keep it even if I buy something else.
Any help appreciated.

I live in Canada and your car is worth $ 7,000 - $ 8,000 here, maybe less. I am keeping my 2005 because it's not worth much more. I too have car fever but am keeping mine because its worth so little to sell and I have no idea what to buy.
I am curious .... what car are you considering if you do sell your LS ?

I don't know what your cars worth but is "Stu" is right and its worth $8000 maybe you could just keep it and get your new car. You can always sell it later if you find your not driving it.

I kind of want an SUV, and I want a diesel. A used diesel comes with a six year warranty unlimited mileage. I go back and fourth whether I need to even foo with it. Found one ...color I like, price is below market. I may keep my LS and not buy anything, or keep it until somebody wants it badly enough to give me a premium for it.

The UL, combined with the low miles might get you a slightly higher price from someone who truly wants it. I believe, though, as it ages the price you can demand will decrease. It's just the trick of finding the buyer looking for the car you're selling. Good luck on your search for a replacement.

Unhappy

There was this nice 2011 LS460L at the local dealer I really liked. He said he can give me $4K-$5K trade-in for my 04 LS430 Custom Luxury with 110K miles, same color combo as your's.
I said, No Thanks.

It's amazing how many owners that do relinquish their LS430s usually seem to miss the amazing experience of owning it once it is gone. Not me.....own mine for 9 years and am still going strong! (We are talking about a car that is 17 years old!)

I know what you are saying. I own mine 9 years as well and going strong but it just looks dated now. LS460L looks so much nicer.

I'd think $7-9 k max for a 2002 LS430 in excellent shape, if you find the right buyer. Wholesale is probably $3-5k.

LS430s are definitely worth a lot more (especially well maintained examples) than the general used car market is willing to pay at this point. The low prices make sense as the LS430 is 12-17 year old luxury car at this point.

Par of their settlement over dieselgate.....heck of a warranty for a pre-owned car. Bumper to bumper unlimited mileage.

In addition, mine has every receipt for every service, tire rotation, etc. I even have a fuel log book that shows the date mileage, and gallons used. I have been surprised at how many vehicles I have looked at....including Porsche's that lack maintenance records.
