I crashed a previous K1200LT by being flipped into oncoming lanes at 60 mph.. The elbow was the least of my issues. I was beaten up, rashed and destroyed. So there is allot going for a Ls430 even if it gets 1/2 the mpg. The cost for all the medical could have bought a new LS460.
Sunroof, stereo, AC and luggage storage. For me now I am really liking the LS430. put four friends in and the fuel mileage is better than any four motorcycles. Plus you can have a smooth conversation while sipping a beverage.
I had a 2006 LS430, and rode bikes on track only.
1989 GSXR 1100, 98 GSXR 750, 2001 Aprilia RSV Mille R. 2007 ZX6R, 1974 Kawasaki F11, 1987 Suzuki RM125 & 2003 RM125 I still have the bikes listed, but sold the 1989 GSXR 1100.
Well, used to ride until I had two serious accidents. Broke my back both times, my neck once, right rib cage and right shoulder blade. After the second time I decided not to buy another one. Was constantly reminded in the hospital that I should not be able to walk and how surprised they were I wasn't dead as serious as my injuries were.
02Legend... glad you're still here man. That sounds pretty serious.
Thanks for the kind words. So am I. Trust me, I want to get back on, but with my luck, not going to chance it. And yes, both times were on crotch rockets (GSXR 1000's).
That's the problem...get you a slower bike that can't do all that. I don't get on them for the speed. Love the corners and hills in the Ozarks. Ride that area twice a year and more often if I can.
