Help-Identify Item on Back of inside mirror
On the left side of the photo this double-sided tape looks like it might have been used for some type of toll-tag. Does anyone recognize what’s affixed on the right? If so, can I remove it?
Thanks for looking.

It is a inventory tracking label that allows entry of user-defined data (see attached specifications). It could be the shipping label for your car - Was your car shipped to you? The label seems to be applied backward. It is not needed for the operation of the LS430.

Thanks for the replies. I am the second owner but the first owner purchased it new from a local Lexus dealer and I doubt it was shipped to them. Next time I go to the original dealer I’ll look to see if their cars are outfitted with this. Either way it’s coming off.

I have something similar to what's shown in the picture, although mine is about half as long. (that's what she said).
It's also affixed to the inside of the windshield, slightly above the top edge of rear view mirror. I placed it there when I signed up for the 'unlimited carwash' club.
I pay $19.99 a month for an unlimited amount of automatic car washes with the soft bristles. It also scrubs the tires and sprays the undercarriage, etc. My post is NOT intended to have a debate on how bad or how damaging automatic car wash mechanisms are for the clearcoat/paint! There are a couple of toll-gate arms that have RFID readers in the bridge structure above. When I drive up, it communicates and the toll gate arm automatically raises. Where I live, 1 time through a carwash can cost anywhere from $9 to $20. I figure if I use the carwash 2x a month, it's worth it to me.

They apparently had an identical sticker in the IS forum. Check it out (and their time-wasting replies) here... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-mirror-4.html
