I misread your previous post and I thought that the $2200 was for replacing the control arms only. My apologies.

$2200 for the work you plan on having done is probably par for the course these days. It's why I always try to do the work myself but I also understand that there are many who don't have the skills to do so or the time.

If you get these items changed on your car I really don't see much that you will need to worry about for quite some time other than just routine maintenance items.

Well, it's certainly a clean Ultra! I'm not completely sold on the wheels, but that's a minor issue in my view. Once all that work is complete, you'll be good to go for a while. Down the road, you may look at suspension bushings, transmission mount (AKA rear engine mount), all four Air struts eventually and if the tilt/telescopic steering wheel motors have not failed, they no doubt will in the next few years. keep those lubricated to extend their life. Rear window shades have been known to fail, but it's not as common as the telescopic steering wheel motor

There's not much else that will go bad on the car
