Default What should I be paying for a new radiator?

My radiator is leaking, and needs to be replaced. Does Denso make the OEM radiator? What should I be paying, and how much labor is involved?

Thanks

$75-$150 for the radiator $30 for fluid and another $150-$300 for install depending were you go this is a rough estimate but just to give you an idea.

I had mine done through Lexus with an aftermarket Denso radiator. It just so happened, that replacement radiators starting leaking about 18 months after the install. That was 3 times they replaced the radiator including the original factory radiator that came out of the car! They charged me around $500 but no charge to replace the 2 defective ones. No problems so far with my current radiator.

My guy wants $500 for a new radiator, labor, and coolant. Fair price?

An aftermarket Denso rad can be bought for $66 at Rockauto. I could have it installed in about an hour, for the sake of argument with clean up etc. let's say 2 hours, so $500 seems a bit outrageous ...

mafpolo, this job doesn’t cost 500 dollars at all unless you like overspending money. Radiator is worth 70 dollars (oem Denso but made in Taiwan), coolant will be around 30-35 dollars (buy extra ones), installation fee for a DIY method (searchable in forum) is as you know very low - 0 dollars. Now, 400 dollars remaining are worth saving for something else.
