Default My Lex is back, mostly

Since it was suggested that I go back and check all of the connections pertaining to the battery and ground I did just that. The bracket that on the alternator that has the ground connected to it is what I believe was the guilty wire since it was removed during the timing belt change. It wasn't loose but was shiny either. So I am now running but not without incident. The vacuum hose that connects to the top of the intake manifold is split at the end, I put tape over it till I can get a new one, it sound much quieter. Next I got a code P1310 - Coil 3 , one of the connector wires broke at the connector. Very fixable after I can get the pin removed from the connector. I don't have the double pin tool.I did try a paper clip into the smaller of the 2 slots but didn't want to extra force it in fear of cracking the connector.

Great! Sounds like you’re making progress. Anytime you work on these older cars you run the risk of creating more work. Sound like your almost back to running good.

Glad you found the cause of your no-start condition.

Mods, and OP, can we please close this thread, so someone searching "won't start" will not read through clatter? Mark this thread "solved" . Thanks.
