I can understand how you would get sensors, cushions, etc but say your car was in an accident. Where do they get bumpers, body panels, lights if they're not being manufactured anymore?

Are they not being manufactured anymore?

I had a tour of a warehouse, and it was full of Saab parts. No idea how big, possibly 800k sq ft, and Saabs aren't made anymore. I was told this is all junk, you never see anything leave. So I would imagine there would be way more Lexus parts, even for cars no longer produced.

So where? From a distributor.

To answer your question, many aftermarket companies are producing parts for the car. Toyota still produces many body panels for the 3rd Gen LS, but their cost is extremely prohibitive. Local shops usually have access to a regional distributor that sells used and new repair panels as needed.
For the budget minded, you can purchase a few different panels, lights and grill pieces through a company called "Certi-fit", but I would use that term in the loosest sense. They may fit, but just barely. That company does however, sell parts very cheaply. I purchased fenders for my daughter's 91 Accord many years ago and IIR they were 23-25 dollars each.

LKQ crash is one as well as numerous Chinese companies that make a mold of a mold and produce parts they do not fit right do to the distortion of being a copy of a copy. There is certain companies that will only sell to dealerships or licensed shops such as BG.

OEMs are required to provide parts for certain years. Isuzu stopped selling in 2002 but their parts were going to be available until 2019. Can you believe that? Lexus parts should have no problem. Recently got new bumpers for LS430 at Toyota body shop and I am sure they had no issues getting parts.
