Default Swapping factory radio for double din

So when I bought he LS, the previous owner pointed out that the previous to him, removed the 6 disc changer(this is a non navigation car). Which I'm fine with because I rarely use CD anymore.

however, I am a big music guy and want to throw a double din nav in it eventually, as the old aux/tape scenario is just not a good fit for me lol

it does have mark Levinson, so I'm wondering, what do I need to buy to keep the mark Levinson system working?

Beatsonic makes a kit with plug-in harness. Search the forum and visit the website. Good place to start.

I've searched and googled and I'm not coming up with relevant info for a non nav ML system. Its either with nav or without ML...

You have to spend $350 on a beatsonic kit to get it to work or you can wait till another member and I figure out the wiring

Check out Crutchfield. BeatSonic is the one that most people use but Crutchfield has harnesses as well that fit.

I have an 04 LS430 without nav and put kenwood double-din radio with subs in it. All works great!

Do you have this radio thats the pioneer I believe?
If so its easy you can buy a metra facplate and wire in a resistor as well as the new radio.

This is the mark Levinson radio

Also what region are you from I know that some parts of thw world the ls430's are different than the American version.
