Do you find your 04-06 LS430 seats uncomfortable?

They are nice seats but not the best. I'm 5'11" 180 pounds to keep it in perspective. The seat is on the large side for me. They are inferior in comfort to my 99 SC300 seats. I think this has a lot to do with how I just do not fill out the whole seat in the LS. The lumbar adjustment on the LS is not as wide range as I like. When the seat really presses to keep the curve of the spine in place I feel comfortable. There is mild pressure there for me even with the lumbar adjusted to the max.

I realized I put yes for uncomfortable, meant to put no. Either way, drove it again today and honestly, it is the best riding, most comfortable car I've ever ridden in or driven. However, it is a UL so from what I've read, they have better seats than the non UL.

175 lb here if that makes any difference.

Seriously thought this thread was a joke at first.
The seats in my LS are by far the most comfortable I've ever sat in.
I regularly drive from Knox to Rochester NY to see in-laws, it's about an 11 hour drive, 700+ miles. Literally, we always stop only one time in Columbus, for less than 10 mins just to get gas and take a bathroom break. We arrive there fresh as if we haven't even been in the car at all, let alone over 10 hours.
I'm spoiled rotten by the comfort of my LS and the seats are a big part of it.

seat comfort
Flat bottom driver seat seems to be common. I now also feel the seat cushion is coming to its end. That is normal with foam over the years. The cheapo way is to buy and make your own foam cushion and just lay it on the seat. Or go the OEM route and have the seat cushion replaced. The ultimo would be a Mann-Scheel seat. There is just no better seat period. Pricey though.

Our cars are 11-17 years old. What can we expect? These are old cars. Period. Want a better seat? None was better than the LS430... A living room couch. . Get a newer car. Period.

Yes, the cars are getting older.
but just like your grandparents, getting older does not mean you could not improve on their wellbeing whereever possible
If the seat(s) are worn fix it. Just like your exhaust or timing belt or whatever.
Ultimately buy a new car every one or two years or go by taxi

Today I had the bottom driver's seat cushion rebuilt by a top-notch auto upholstery shop. They did the same on my prior '06. The seat is like new. That's $100 well spent!

I'm 5'10" and 185#. I love long walks on the beach, eating pizza and watching romance movies under an electric blanket, and enjoying a cup of coffee on a sidewalk cafe while people watching and adding to my bucket list.
I'm also terribly unsure how to answer this poll question, LOL! My seat is comfortable for an hour or so drive, but longer than that, I find myself leaning on 1 cheek (butt) trying to initiate blood flow to the glutes. So--comfortable for short trips, but not for longer trips. Because I can't answer the question, I'll refrain from voting.
EDIT---I had same discomfort when I bought the car from first owner, in 2009 and ~45k miles. (Even my passenger complains on longer trips!)
