Do you find your 04-06 LS430 seats uncomfortable?
I've seen this mentioned and wanted to know if this is a legit concern or only a handful of people have had this problem. I hear the pre 04 models have this problem more.

Unfortunately, yes, but only the driver side. We were just away for 6 days and so I have been driving my wife's car for all that time. Get back to the LS430 and I was like whoa, the seat saggy, and the car doesn't handle very well...such is life, many would say first world problems!

Depends on the driver. Perhaps heavier people may find the seats uncomfortable, especially if they've been driving something else for a few days, and then come back to the LS. As these cars age, the foam will break down and loose it's resiliency. You get used to your surroundings quickly I guess...
I spend on average 2.5 to 3 hours a day in my 2001 and have no issues with comfort.
I'm 6'1" and weigh in at 210 and could sit in my LS for hours at a time (and have..)

I am 5'4 175 and find the seats comfy maybe its the phone books I sit on to look over the steering wheel In all serious though I drove from long island to my house took 3 hours and I did not feel uncomfortable once. I think the ls430 seats are very nice, sit in a kirky aluminum race seat thats uncomfterable lol.

ok so now you guys are calling me weight challenged, I see how this goes, just because I am 4'10" and 398 lbs., does not in any way mean anything! To be clear, my pass seat feels very nice, but my driver seat sags. If I replace the cushion, pretty sure everything will change for the better. So that's the context...

My '06 driver seat seems to be a bit "flat." Like myself, the original owner was a really big guy, so maybe that has something to do with it. However, the fact that the seat cushion can be extended almost to the back of my knees to support my legs more than makes up for it as it is the best feature of the car!

The quality of the leather and the ways you can adjust are many.
There have been many threads about the foam in the seat cushion giving out. Our 01 and 04 both have very comfortable seats. It takes some driving to set and tweak the various adjustments. Remember to re-save your seat number memory if you change it.

<div style="text-align:left;">It’s been quite a change for me coming from a 2012 CT, to the LS. For the first few weeks I had issues with leg pain due to the seat bottom. I’ve now adjusted and extended to thigh support, and have been very comfortable since. I have purchased and will install the replacement seat padding. I view this as a maintenance item for a car that’s 13 years old. Heck, I had some refinishing done to address wear spots on my 2012 CT with 130,000 trouble free miles. </div>

Yes. On the right side of the bottom of the seat where my right thigh rests always has been a little firm. Also I took some foam after taking the back seat cover off and placed it from the top to bottom as you can see in the pic. It helped make the back more flat with less pressure points in my back without having to extend the lumbar in so much.

I'm 5'9 and 150 lbs and find the front seats comfort to be just acceptable but not great. The wife finds it extremely comfortable. We each have our own settings in memory so I'm not using her settings and she's not using mine. BTW, sometimes I come home from work and pull into the garage and she'll be sitting in the back seat of her LS getting a massage from rear seat massagers! She says they help with her back problems. I'm no really a fan of thosethings but I'll hop in the other side and we sit there in our garage in the back seat of the car getting massaged by the seats while listening to the radio/cd player! If we were younger maybe we'd be doing something else in the back seat, LOL!

I watched a YouTube yesterday where this guy cut open a brand new S class seat, I made it to about 6 min. and thought, this is stupid, why would anybody do that? Then I saw the dude had 5 mil. subscribers. He was cutting open a brand new seat, while we here are contemplating the replacement of our driver side bottoms.
