Cabin Air filter location - 2005 ls 430?

Open the glove box, the panel pops out and it's right there. Piece of cake.

First he has to remove the shelf inside the glove box. After that, he has to push the tabs and remove the felt covered cover to access the blower unit. After he removes the felt covered cover, he then pushes the tabs and removes the blower cover to expose the air filter tray. He then lowers and removes (pull towards yourself) the air filter tray from the blower, paying attention to the orientation of AIR FLOW arrows.
The panel just doesn't pop out and it's right there. There's a lot of literal people (me being one of them), and your simplistic description didn't come close to the steps necessary to access the cabin air filter.
