Default Electrical problems

LS430, 2005, 8500o miles. Driver side fuse box under hood, driver side fuse box interior and passenger side fuse box all show the middle row of fuses not getting 12v power. If you pull a fuse from any box in the middle row the fuse is not blown. The box fuses do not appear to be blown. I did not check the fuse box in the trunk. Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you do the test with your engine running (or at least turn key to "ACC" position)? Majority of the fuses are not hot when the key is off.

Ahhh! Thank you. It does seem that I read something in the manual about making sure the key was in the off position. Dose that ring s bell with you?

Take for example, your driver-side fuse box, the center row of fuses are powered by either a relay called "D-ACC" or the other called "D-IG1" (see arrows). Your ignition must be in the "ACC" position for these fuses to receive power.

Thank you. I retested all the blade fuses in all four boxes with the ignition switch on and they all test good. All the box fuses appear to be good. Do you have any other trouble shooting suggestions. Thank you.

May I ask what symptoms prompted the fuse check?

My wife’s cell phone would not charge, however, I checked it today and it IS charging. The next event was not being able to access the B trip odometer on the instrument panel. When you press the Display 2 button on the steering wheel the menu won’t advance. Apparently the two are not related. Computer issue?
