Not sure I've ever seen Ash interior on a silver LS... very sharp! I wasn't crazy about Ash at first, but now I love it. Your seats look great... make sure to treat them with leather conditioner. Don't forget the door cards and center armrest either.
My brother and I both have Mercury Metallic over Ash. Looks clean almost always......... Your new ride looks great. I don't usually like chrome, but I really like it on those 17s. Congrats on the new ride!
That’s true. Still new at figuring out the different trim levels offered. But thanks for pointing that out.
The wife wants some tint protection. The only tint I’ve had on my previous vehicles was the product, LLumar Air Blue. It’s a ceramic tint that’s more effective than your standard black film. And even with the front windshield tinted it was hardly noticeable.
Im not sure I’ve seen an LS430 with this particular tint. But here it is on one of the vehicles I’ve owned:
Wow - great looking car. Take care of it and it will last a very long time. If they have not been done very recently I would immediately change out - complete brake fluid flush, do 3 AT drain and fills, PS fluid, and differential fluid. Radiator fluid refresh should have been done with TB /WP at 90k. Change radiator fluid again at 60K increment (so 150k miles on the car if TB was done at 90) if you use Toyota long life.
I'd also change PCV valve if original, Clean the MAF (use MAF specific cleaner spray only) and the throttle body inlet and butterfly plate(again use a TB cleaner specific product). Make sure engine and cabin filters are new. While you are at it inspect and clean the under seat filters also although they are not critical items.
Congrats on the pick up. Is it me or these cars seem to be popping up recently in great condition and great prices. Makes me want to get a second, this time a UL.
@ Jabberwock..... I was under the impression only the UL had underseat filters? Was i wrong?

took me a while to find mine, approx 2 months of searching for one without too many issues and for the right price. Also mu search was narrowed down to 04-06 models.
There arent too many of these for sale up here in Oregon. But I do see a lot of these for sale in Texas and California.

My 2005 ML has the under seat filters in the front seats only.. Rears are only heated.. The filters are fairly easy to get at. Pull the storage tray out from under the front seat, and you can access the filter through that hole. You may have to move the seat up and forward to allow access, but it can be done through that opening.
LOL tranny flush sounds more labor tensive in the 70s!
Great advise gentlemen. I’m planning to get these fluids changed out and other maintenance procedures performed in between or with my oil changes. Totally forgot about the rear differential too.
Also brake fluids, pads/rotors were replaced with the timing belt. But coolant was only topped off, not replaced.
I would advise finding a well referenced/reviewed independent shop versus any Lexus dealership for a car of this age. Too many bad stories about level of service and prices at the dealer so if a real good, dependable shop is available in your area then all of those maintenance items you want can be done.

copy that.
Typically I tackled most of the maintenance myself especially suspension and brake work.
But now with two kids I really don’t have the time/energy. Wondering if anyone has a reputable mechanic in the Portland area they’d like to share?
