For aftermarket exhausts, there really aren't a lot of options for our vehicles. I've seen some used Tom's stuff and a few others here and there, but nothing brand new. Enter Fujitsubo. They still sell a cat back system (made to order now) for the LS430. On their website though and with some searching, it is only listed as fitting the 00-03 models with no confirmation that it fits the 04-06 models. I can't imagine there were any changes between the model years that would affect fitment.
The system is $1,500 delivered from Japan. I've reached out to a buying service in Japan to see if they can confirm directly with Fujitsubo about 04-06 fitment before I pull the trigger. I know I could do Magnaflows or another domestic option for a lot less money, but I like to do things different and if it works out, I think this should be the first Fujitsubo system in North America for an LS430.
I like how it is a touch louder, but still pretty quiet and I think it will look great. It's good for about 10 HP, which you probably can't even feel/notice. If this doesn't work out, I may continue to search for a JDM option before trying something else. With a system like this, it would be easy to return the vehicle back to stock.

This is my opinion but you can get a custom made exhaust out of 304 stainless with x pipe, resonators and mufflers for $600-$1000. I will be getting mine made within the next 3 weeks hopefully and would post some sound clips if you want.
Found that Fujitsubo does has a system for the 04-06 cars. It's a different line, costs more, and doesn't offer hardly any sound increase or HP. It would be close to $2k after shipping... too rich for my blood. Will end up getting something done locally.

I'm still trolling Yahoo Auctions Japan on a daily basis in case something cool comes up. I love the sound of the Junction Produce but I think quad tips like that on our cars looks silly.

I totally agree about the quad tips, I am scheduling an appointment to get my exhaust made next week so if you can wait like 2-3 weeks I will post up what the exhaust sounds like.
Trying to decide what the muffler situation should be torn between the two greddys or doing one greddy one hks and seeing what it sounds like.
