Default Seat covers country of origin

Hello;
I have a 1999 LS400 and follow LS430 postings from time to time.

Have spent a year compiling information in preparation of a comprehensive posting on sources of quality leather hides (Germany and Italy) and vendors of professional leather restoration/repair products.

The original leather in my 1999 is remarkably durable but after 20 years requires attention.

Meanwhile, am interested in learning Country of origin of replacement seat covers depicted in this post.

Thanks.

Possibly....The fans on my seats don't really work all that well in the first place. I think the actual seat cushion needs to be replaced to get more airflow. I will report back once i get them installed. lol

Not at all a good explanation for LS430 seat cooling. He is correct in showing the "circulation" fan, but he is entirely unaware that the seat also incorporates a piezoelectric cooler that actually refrigerates the air before it is blown thru the seat. That is what makes the air cool. Piezoelectric devices are now commonly found in wine coolers in homes. They may be the size of a microwave and just plug in and run as required.

This particular seat cover that I ordered is made in Japan for Toyota Celsior model. I am not sure where they get their hides from. Maybe this link will help you. https://www.clazzio.com/faqs.php

I feel it in mine - it’s pretty mild though. Honestly you notice it the most on your.. sensitive boys..

If anyone is wondering about the passenger side seat controls for this cover. Per the instructions, the covers are solid and you have to cut the hole yourself.

Got 1 done! Seat covers are really nice...more comfy that oem. The cool air still flows through the covers. Haven't tried heat yet cause it's already hot over here. The bad part is I lost the hard pocket on the back of the seat. I don't use the pocket but I still like the way it looked

Got the 2nd seat done. Ended up cutting my hand in the process. Will post the back seat sometime next weekend.

Thanks! My wife got em for me a 2 Christmases ago from vipdout.com. They are good quality but pricey. There are other brands for cheaper that feel the same.

Slightly off topic but how do you like those floor mats? I was thinking about getting them off Amazon but wasnt sure if they would fit right, yours seem perfect from the little I can see.
Are they easy to clean if they got muddy?
Thanks!
