LS430 16” Rim’s installed

What is the weight difference between 16' vs 17' vs 18' ? I'd guess that 16' wheel weight significantly less than 18', so maybe the steering wheel is a bit lighter/more responsive?

Any difference isn't noticeable to me. I'll drive my cars with 18s and 16s back to back one day this week and see if I can tell.

No, the negligible difference in weight will definitely not affect the steering responsiveness. If anything, the opposite would be true because the shorter/stiffer sidewalls of the tires on the 18s won't flex as much as the 16s or the 17s on initial turn-in.

Those wheels with the 16 inch tires look amazing! Nothing wrong with going to 16's. It's a luxury car, not supposed to be some road-handling machine. If you want one of those then get an M3 or something.

Her base model 2002 LS with twice the miles rode better than my 2005 Ultra Luxury LS with the 18 inch wheels did. They looked good too.

I'd almost argue larger rims are more fitting for a luxury car, just a preference though
