Default Easy fix for coin tray that won't stay closed!

Hello everyone,
I have a quick and easy fix for a coin tray that just stays open! Usually it's that the hook on the side is snapped and now the tray can't latch back properly into its space and just stays open. What I did to fix this is use JB Weld and a a tiny little piece of scrap plastic. First just stick it together then put some more epoxy around it until its a big glob. Next, I sanded it down with a nail file from the dollar store and shaped it into a hook. The end result works like new!

Nice fix. Thank for taking the time to post a solid repair for a potentially expensive fix.
