Well, on the way in to ORD this morning, I finally hit 200,000 miles.

First time I've seen that happen on a car. Came close on a 2002 Bonneville we had before I bought the RX300 in 2013, but it was rear ended shortly before I hit 200K.

Kind of anti-climactic when it happened.... I wasn't sure if confetti would come out of the dash, or perhaps the CEL would come on, but, alas, it hit 200,000 with no fanfare.

I bought the LS in Dec. 2015 at 104K, so almost 100,000 miles in 3 1/2 years without a hiccup...

Can't say that about too many cars...

Congrats! It will likely be the same way at 300K if you want to keep it that long. I bought mine with 13k on it, and it just turned 107,000. I did replace the front struts since one of them started leaking but that's it for non warranty repairs in almost 100k driving (except inexpensive hood and trunk struts). The single under warranty repair I had was replacing a driver side mirror that stopped working. I'd love to see 200k, car still runs and works like it is brand new, but I only drive 6-7k per year at this point and I'll likely only own it for 5-7 more years.

Yeah, my goal is at least 300,000 miles. Then it'll be "Lets see how far it will go"...

My commute is mostly freeway driving, so that keeps my average up.

The previous owner replaced the struts on the trunk lid and the hood, but even looking through all the records I got from him, there really never was much done to this car.

Just Oil changes, brakes, tires, a few bushings and now I'm planning for some exhaust work, since I'm growing tired of resetting the CEL for the P0430 code.

Good for you 2K. I'd expect double that out of this car although the most likely thing of significance that has just happened is that you lost 75% of the potential buyers of your car when it comes time to sell. Doesn't really matter for you since you plan on running it for another 100K.

You might have to change your username now. Perhaps 200KHarrier???

Funny... When I joined the club back in 2013 and bought the RX300, I had to come up with a catchy name. So, I found that the RX300 in Japan is called the Harrier, so I went with it..

I guess I didn't realize I would be a Celsior owner at some point..
