Default Seat A/C cooling improved

Today I changed the front and rear seat A/C cooling air filters in my UL. The front filters were really bad, even though I had replaced them a couple of years ago. The drivers side was the worst of course, since the driver is in that seat constantly. You drag a lot of dirt and debris in on the carpet every time you get in the car. I saw an immediate and noticable increase in cooling air in the drivers seat (ambient temp was 108F today). The rear seat filters are much, much smaller and were not in bad shape. But, they are located much higher from the carpet and aren't exposed to as severe conditions. Also, it is lessened as I more rarely have two passengers in the rear. I also changed the door sill filters. They were also in pretty good shape.

My conclusion: Change those dang seat filters more frequently!

They filter the air for the rear air conditioner (only found in UL's). Found on the door sills about 6 inches above the seat. They have a grill about 2 x 4 inches. Easy to see.

Can you provide a link or part number for the filters. I remembered replacing them a few years ago and lately cold seat isn't as cool as they used to be. I forgotten they even have filters under the seats. Thanks. I replaced the air filter behind the glove compartment 2 weeks ago and good lord they are dirty.

The part number for the seat filters: 88921-50010. You can easily get them on eBay for a decent price compared to a dealer.

Appreciate the part number. I took mine's out and they looked good. I just vacuumed and reinstalled them. They are $50 shipped for a pair on eBay if some is interested. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-OEM-F...53.m1438.l2649
