01 LS430 Radio and Nav not Turning on/ no Sound When Using Tape/CD player
So I had a recent thread where after jumping the LS, the entertainment system went out. I later found that a fuse was being obscured by the socket(?) where the fuse covering locks into. Someone else made a thread on it before, so I checked the fuses.
Now on to the main problem: the AM/FM radio won't turn on or switch modes. The nav system doesn't work and the CD/ Tape player works but there is no sound output. Now, I know that there is a kind of current being sent to the NAV DVD box, used a multimeter and checked. I tested the NAV system by trying to eject the dvd, but it did not work. \
The AM/FM won't even switch on, and then cycling through the mode button on the steering wheel, only tape/CD works.
The buttons light up when it's night time, so there is that. The voice commands do not work. The ASL button is gone and the only audio settings are bass and treble I think. My first thought was the amp, but the problem is that the NAV bypasses the amp ( from what my understanding is at least.) So is there something that connects both of those things? is there a common power source I can look into?

First, have you scanned for DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Code), and what are they?
Second, let's unplug and inspect relevant audio-related fuses, and re-seat each fuse (see red arrows in diagram below). These fuses are found in 3 separate locations - Driver-side fuse box, passenger-side fuse box, and truck fuse box.

Thanks for the picture. Using my multi-meter to check for currents showed that there wasn't any current flowing through the RR ACC connectors. So I have taken apart the Rear Fuse Box and I will clean it, it is kind of rusty right now. Ill get back to you either this evening or tomorrow after the board is dry. Ill put some pictures of what's inside because I did not find any while searching.

Quick update: There is a lot of things messed up with my LS at the moment.
Radio and Nav not working
Tail lights not working
Rear multimedia control display not working
trunk and gas cap not working
Is there a common link between all of this? I am not sure about whether its the fuse box in the rear. I opened it up and there were some rusted components so I soldered them again; however there is no change in any of this.

Nope, however there was rain water that got into the rear area, I cant trace the location, but I poked holes a long time ago. I will post pictures if needed.
At this point I will most likely change the rear fuse box, because I can probably trace some issues with the trunk and gas cap with the fuse box.
