I used the drivers door switch and passenger door switch waited couple minutes went up a little more , waited couple more minutes and closed fully . Came back to the car an hour later lowered all the way down and went back up fine ?? Tried it 7 or 8 more times worked perfect , any idea what’s going on here ? Please

This maybe a long shot, but I will ask anyway... How old is your battery? Does this happen only if the car sit idle for several hours (i.e. problem goes away after running the engine for a bit)?

Then sat all night got into today same thing stuck down several attempts after waiting a few minutes goes up in increments drive the car to a couple of stores got back into it everything fine again? Mind boggling my wife said take it in to mechanic tomorrow maybe the motor but no Strange noises as I indicated earlier I’m puzzled

Corroded electrical paths can degrade voltage level delivered to the window motor. This combined with a slightly lowered voltage source can create intermittent failure until a fully-charged voltage source is restored. The corrosion can occur in any of the electrical connectors. You had mentioned that you tried using the driver-side switch and the passenger-side switch with the same result, so we can safety eliminate the switches as being the problem.

It's the motor. I have the same issue but only when the weather is hot.

I recently had my lock actuator replaced on the door and the tech confirmed the motor's performance is degrading. I also thought it was the modulator, and I bought but never installed it, so I am out about $80 for that...

If you can afford it, and if you plan on keeping the car for a long while, replace the door actuator while the door innards are out; it'll save you time and labor costs. They are about $900 new.

There's a little plastic piece(!) that is prone to fail over time...ask me how I know.
