04 lexus ls430 with LS3 engine
How to swap an LS3 engine manual in to a ls430 and keep all my electrical components for the car ? Do i need to get a different ecu for the LS3

Its a massive job. Everything Toyota-related will have to come out. You'll need something like a Chevy SS/Pontiac G8 (read VE/VF Holden Commodore) or Camaro SS as a donor. The Commodore ECUs have a fair bit of scope to tune them. You'll also need to overlay the two wiring looms and somehow merge the engine and trans loom to the body loom, which is easier said than done given the UCF30 has very deep CANBUS system integration; nearly every system in the car has some sort of computer controlling it. Then you'll need custom headers, engine mounts, transmission mounts and crossmember, driveshaft and more than likely a stronger diff, as 6 litre LS engines (LS2, LQ4/9, L76/77 and L98) have a lot more power and torque than a 3UZ. If you have the time, money and/or skills to do this, then the world is your oyster, as LS and Junkyard motors love boost

A ls3 6speed build has been done already out here in northern California about 3 years ago. The person has gone mia. Last post he did he built the ls3 and it was pushing about 700hp
