Default Static/Crackling coming from GROM Audio

Just bought the Grom Audio USB3 for my 2005, and I noticed a consistent static/crackling interference when playing music. It does not occur when there is nothing playing. Has anyone ever run into this issue?

Ok. Just curious, I have resistors set up in my taillight indicators and decoders in the DRLs, this is a completely separate system from the audio system, yes? There would be no interference?
