replacing front lower control arm-small bushings
2004 ls430. I have read postings on how to cutout the smaller lower control arm bushing inner metal collar with a hacksaw before fitting the new bushings. I am waiting delivery of the new bushings to install next week along with upper control arms, both ball joints, new tie rod ends and the large lower control arm bushings with brackets. Just ordered a Mevotech lower right control arm from PartsGeek not previously on any vendor's catalog with both bushings installed for $ 103.00. No luck for the left lower arm except much higher prices. Will go ahead and try to replace the smaller bushing in the original control arm before using the whole new Mevotech arm-maybe will sell it if the overhaul goes well., Any final tips on the small bushing removal and replacement? Also somewhere saw the torque specs for all bolts in this project and would like them again. Thanks.
