Is there a battery in this thing? And how do I change it?

Got it replaced and very little help. But the next day the 12V battery bit the dust. After replacing the main battery a lot of strange things were "fixed". It seems the car will start and operate on a very, very weak battery but a lot of lesser circuits depend on a healthy battery. So if you start having gremlins, check out the big battery.

So the new 12 volt battery solved the intermittent key fob issue?

yes it did. also made the auto repositioning of the driver seat work again also made the windows rise all the way . All the gremlins are gone.
