Default Slight driver mirror issue - Goes a little too far

I'm expecting this may be the detent stop, and I'll have to take it apart and do the fix with a bit of plastic I've seen elsewhere, but wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue.

The driver mirror, on start, seems to go just slightly too far even if the mirror was not set to retract, kept out all the time. It's just past the stop point, and that causes the view to be wrong, the view dpad can't deflect it in enough to correct for that.

If I reset the mirror position by bringing them in, then deploying them, it stops in the correct position for the rest of my duration of driving.

When I turn off the car, then start it again later with the mirrors out it once more jogs just past the place where it should stop, where it was when the car was off. Just slightly, not even 1/8 of an inch. If I set the mirrors to auto, they go to the correct position on start. Both motors are smooth on deployment, no issues there.

Is that the plastic detent in there, or something else? Why is a pulse going to the motor when the mirror switch is set to leave them out? Some sort of test on startup?
