I love my Lexus, its been a while since I made any sort of post on here. She has been nothing but good to me super dependable reliable and much more!. I ran into a issue unfortunately here a few weeks ago I turned the car on and was surprised by a msg on Nav screen that system is no longer connected. I no longer have access to BLUETOOTH, VOICE COMMANDS OR NAVIGATION, back up camera works fine with Audio screen and Climate screen as well. I went to trunk removed the Navigation Unit and tried to eject the disk to see if a cleaning would help but I get no response. I don't know if maybe I had a short or just a fuse burn. Honestly I am not a very hands on person although I am trying to learn because it definitely saves me money. Lexus wants to charge me $120 an hour and it might take them a few hours they said to check it out. I have looked for a diagram to see where the Fuse would be located but I cant find it. Could someone please point me in the right direction. I also lost the steering controls to those same systems I can switch stations or mode still but no volume of Bluetooth feature work. I used to have my Cell phones paired with the car and now every time I get in the car I still get the msg saying Bluetooth pairing failed (since I did get a new phone but cant pair this new one obviously) My old phone still pairs but wont transmit call audio although it will stop the music playing and act as if you are having the conversation over Bluetooth.
Sounds like a reasonable fix........but what if after all the efforts to replace the unit the used unit has issues? In addition all these used units are quite old as well.
