Key to unlock all 4 doors on 2002 LS 430?
Hello,
Just bought a new-to-me 2002 Lexus LS 430 over the weekend. I wish to set it up so that when I press unlock, all four doors unlock on the car. How is this possible? Thanks!

You need someone with TechStream (the Lexus and Toyota dealership software) to adjust the customization setting. See https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...ml#post7782921 - page 3, function 1 (Wireless D Lock), Item 6 (UNLOCK/2 OPER), set this to ALL instead of the default of D_DOOR.
The dealership can do it for free if you ask nicely, as Erin Park Lexus in Toronto did for me (where the car originally came from, even though I'm not the original buyer). You can also buy an MVCI cable from eBay for $30 to have TechStream at home. Techstream V8.20.019 with MVCI Toyota Driver 1.4.6 (and 1.4.8) works perfectly fine. The MVCI driver must be for Toyota, not Honda or Volvo. Do not place any CD they give you inside your computer, likely loaded with malware. Newer versions of TechStream auto-disable themselves after a certain # of uses without an Internet connection, or crash for unknown reasons (maybe due to bad malware injection).
There are various instructions on the Internet for installing it, and some of the instructions are wrong or simply unnecessary. For fastest and safest installation, use VirtualBox and disable the LAN adapter, then install WinXP, then install MVCI driver, then install TechStream. The USB must always be plugged in prior to launching TechStream so that the USB connection is recognized by the emulated environment. Upon first launch of TechStream, go into the menu item for the MVCI driver and change it from the default driver to your Xhorse MVCI. Then anytime you need TechStream, fire up the emulated WinXP environment, plug in the USB, then launch TechStream. Do not try to update the MVCI firmware, but you can use that tool to confirm that the USB is connected properly.

Somewhat related, but does anyone know how to disable the "I agree" screen on start-up and have the system default to the audio or climate pages rather than nav? I assume this isn't a Techstream possibility?

I have a VaisTech installed for my iPod, and it can be configured to hit the "I Agree" button for you. Check out Post #12 on the link below...

Ah, darn. I have the USA-SPEC BT45-TOY for Bluetooth audio streaming, so no VaisTech here. Also, just because it would bypass the "I AGREE", does it still default to the nav map screen on startup?

Yes. After the "I agee" is automatically functioned, it then defaults to the map screen.
