I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Lexus LS430 Ultimate Luxury, 98,000 miles.
I look forward to digging into the existing knowledge within this forum and asking for parts of the wealth of knowledge the members hold. And hopefully, I'll be able to contribute as well!
Sweet, and welcome! Is the car an AZ car? Would be seriously rust free....congrats!
Yessir! An AZ car it's whole life. Serviced at the same Lexus dealership, as scheduled, by the couple that owned it. Called that dealership today to set up an inspection and the man remembers the car and said he's "taken care of it since just about the day it was born". That helped me feel so much more comfortable

On my 1998 Maxima, it is typical for cars 9+ yrs old in the northeast, to have the lower rad support rust out and separate. Not sure if bad design or what. I'll always remember a forum person posting his from AZ, it's like the car rolled off the factory assembly line! The older the car the more it's going to make a difference! My car being from FLA, when it was 10, an indie in NJ thought the undercarriage was unusual, not typical of NJ....

Yep, I lived in Maryland for 27 years and was used to rusted out tailpipes, and everything else, super glad to find these nice dry, rust free Southwest cars!
