I need to know how you hooked it up...also take a picture of the about screen in settings...it should work if hooked up right and canbus should have been preset....do you get the origional tuner working...do you have any audio problems...did you log into factory settings and if so what did the canbus setting display

I'm not in front of my car, but I'm pretty sure my canbus was set to Lexus LS460. The on-screen temperature buttons do not work on the Android units. The only way to control temperature is the factory hard buttons on either side of the screen. Yours sounds like it's operating normal to me provided the other HVAC on-screen buttons are working.

On my canbus and his if bought same unit the only Lexus option was an NX. Mine came set to Crown 13 Toyota, Also the up down temperature controls on the app work as well as side buttons. He is saying nothing works on his app. All these android units are different.

Got it. I bought mine last year so it sounds like the newer ones have made some improvements.

I'm at an impasse in my install. I have a 2003 LS430 Ultra with the nav and Mark Levinson stereo. I bought model 4-64-360-DVR from this link: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803627270218.html I believe this is the same vendor alextv and Ozzie0607 purchased from. The cables look very similar to the EKIY KK5 models in this thread but connecting them in the same manner doesn't seem to work. Any advice on how to connect these? I apologize for the bad pic:
1 & 2 obviously go between the CD player connector and large car CD/radio plug
3 is the 20 pin canbus plug
4 is an 8 pin plug I left unplugged but fits in the other end of the canbus box
5 & 6 were left unplugged (these are the two that fit each other no one seems to use)
7 Steering wheel controls(?) Left unplugged as I could not find anything it would connect to
8 is a 6 pin plug that fits the smaller cable going into the back of the CD/radio. It has a video out plug. Tried plugging it in and unplugged, didn't seem to make a difference.
9 is a 8 pin plug that comes from the canbus back to the unit (fits no where else)
10 & 11 are USB ports, likely for the DVR functionality
12 is the OBD plug, did not use
13 & 14 are both 20 pin audio plugs that fit in the same port on the back of the unit. One plug has a set of female LR Aux in and out RCA plugs, MIC, sub, and a black 2 pin male connector (19) that fits either 17 or the OBD cable female connectors. The other 20 pin plug has only Aux in LR plugs and yellow CVBS in and yellow video plugs.
15 is for the various 360 car cameras
16 is the male Aux in audio plugs I assume they attach to the similar female plugs in one of the two 20 ping audio plug sets. I tried both but no audio from the new unit, just from the factory radio.
17 is a small black 2 pin connector that can fit 18 out of the canbus or on one of the 20 pin audio plug sets (19). Not sure which to use.
I've tried a couple different configs but none has allowed control of the radio or AC. I haven't tried the camera functions yet. Another issue the factory password to change the canbus settings is not known. It was not 123456 or 3368 as I saw mentioned earlier. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi...If you look at a diagram of pins on the main plug going into the unit you will see the #4 plug is the audio outs and that has to be plugged into the canbus to get audio. Your 2003 I think should be like my 2001 and only connections to unit from car were the Y cable and 2 rca plugs for cd player that plug into #16. The origional small plug goes back into cd player and not the unit. Do not hook up OBDII. These come with no directions but generally plug in where a plug fits. Post a picture here of your About screen in settings and scroll down to get all of it so I can see what you have. Also the swing vent plug has to be plugged in.

I hooked the second plug (#4) into the canbus box and audio now works using BT from my phone and selecting the cd player or tape setting on the old stereo. My CD player doesn't have RCA plugs, perhaps because it is the ML version? The radio app doesn't control the car radio though nor does it pick up stations. I also can't find the HVAC app. I swear I saw one when I initially put the unit in but it is not listed under apps. I also didn't see an about screen in settings. Is this what you are referring to? I appreciate the help, thanks!

Mine is a 01 UL with ML also. The #16 is soldered to harness wire going to cd player and I think goes into audio in on female harness for unit. It is for cd player only. The radio app is for the built in radio only and will not control original tuner. You have to have an external antenna in back of unit for it to work. I bought a $5 flat antenna and ran wire to back along with camera wire through top moulding (very easy and did not remove seat). Under car settings do you see a normal android settings screen that has about at bottom? Don't understand why it says no canbus like it is not connected. Try the MCU upgrade with internet connected to try and bring back the AC app. In my search for a better AC app by changing canbus settings it would download different AC app or none at all. I eventually left it back where it came set and yours should be set also. Your system is different than mine from just 3 months ago. Try the reset button to reboot the system and maybe that will bring back the AC app. Radio should work with antenna now you have audio hooked up to canbus. If somehow you deleted the AC app try different passwords by google chinese factory passwords and under the canbus write down exactly how it is set up and then just set it up again connected to internet will download the app again. Hope this helps and you should be able to get it to work.
