In the Lexus main User Manual for the 04-06 LS430 operation of the automatic air conditioning controls for a car with rear air conditioning is explained using the controls for a vehicle without navigation. For vehicles with navigation, you had to consult the navigation manual.

In other words, when looking into the available manuals for the 04-06 LS430 you would get the impression that the UL non-navigation version was the "standard" version.

As most of you will now, it is the other way round. The UL with navigation was the only version available in the 48 states, with the UL without navigation being an oddity for Hawaii only.

As appears from the above, the 04-06 LS430 UL without navigation is not just an "afterthought" but a fully documented version in the model line-up.

This leading to my question: Does anyone have the dash wiring schematics for the 04-06 LS430 UL without navigation?

As the Hawaiian UL also came with Mark Levinson audio it would be interesting to see to what degree the climate control units (i.e. with buttons as shown above and with the "normal" UL touch display) are plug-and-play.

Indeed, you would have to source a climate control panel with controls for the rear air conditioning in order to downgrade your "normal" UL.
