Hi all,
2001 LS with ML system …

I have a problem with front left speaker ., first I thought it's the speaker has blown out and I replaced it with used one and no sound come out … I tried with a nother 2 used speakers and still mo sound come out…


What is possible problem? Is it amp issue? I asked a technician audio system, he said if amp issue then will no sound come from all speakers not only front speaker…


Any idea and help regard this is appreciated ..

Is any sound coming from the front left dash speaker?
If so, then it's probably a busted wire.
If not, the it could be the channel on the amp.

Connect same speaker to same connection using a different wire.

If you mean tweeter speaker with same side, yes it works ..

How can I know the exact wires for frent left speaker on amp?

Any pinout diagram on amp and wires color for the speaker wires ?


Do you suggest to make a direct wires from amp to the speaker?

Do you know if the speakers used were good? Have you tried to run a wire? Last night I took my radio apart to add the GPS antenna and speakers went out. I searched and realized a cord had come aloose. I'm sure your connections were more solid than mine, but just wanted to offer my experience.

Yes they are good, I checked 3 speakers in right side door and found they are all working.


My question is, the wires from amp are directly connected to speakers or is there anything in between ?
