Ah ok cool, saw the TOYOTA grill and made an assumption!
It's funny to tell people you drive a V8 luxury barge because it gets better gas mileage than your other car...!

Crazy the difference expensive fuel makes on these cars. I just bought a UL this week with cam belt done in UK for $6010.

the residuals are a lot lower here. 89k on clock and cam belt changed.

Black interior too

A lot of my friends can’t believe I can get 32mpg on A run in mine too.

I went from Prius as my daily to the LS. Darn near culture shock. And no one rolls coal on me....
At excessive speeds the Prius would get down in the mid 30's for fuel mileage. Prius does not 'like' to go fast.
The LS is very comfortable @ 100, the Prius will go that fast but trust me, you would rather not. It's short of terrifying due to the weight of that little car, but still a handful.

Nice!

Do UL's sit higher in the back than a non UL? (wheel gap)

There does seem to be a slight 'rake' front to rear on my UL. not by much tho.

I have discovered that bad front hubs do kill your fuel mileage. My average has gone up 2-3 MPG since I changed out the hubs in the front. Interesting, the car feels smoother too. My right front was making noise when I purchased the car, thought it was tire noise, it was not.

Just changed mine on the left front the other day and I did the job myself. The hub costed a whopping 400 euro's with the maximum Garage discount (Loyal member of the local Lexus dealer and I am in contact with them almost every day about one of my Lexuses hahah)

Hope you had an easier time than I. Getting the old hub out of the spindle is truly a pig. Only bright spot is the fact the spindle is easy to remove and bring the whole thing to have the hub pressed out.
If I were to do it again I would get a bolt just long enough to screw in from the wheel side of the hub and employ spacers to use the bolt to pull the hub out of the spindle. The hubs are steel, the spindle is aluminum. Toyota places a sealant when they press the hub in at the factory. Corrosion still occurs and getting it out is tough.

I used a heatgun to heaten up very carefully the aluminium. That always does the trick with almost everything. Buy a heatgun! Best investment ever.
First it didnt came out and after 3 minutes I decided to use the gun. I used lithiumgrease with the mounting. Hope I didnt use the wrong grease. Whats your opinion?

A heatgun might be the right answer, I used a propane torch and got it plenty hot. No joy.

My car is from Ohio, so the corrosion was pretty heavy. Overall they took good care of the car, no real rust but lots of corrosion on suspension parts and hardware. The car was undercoated well but can't really undercoat everything, nor should they do so.

Changed transmission fluid today.

Maintenance history shows no sign of it ever being done in the past 83.8K miles, last 300 was mine.

Did a "drain and refill". 3.2 qt of the brown stuff out and 3.2 qt of the Toyota WS red stuff pumped in. Will do a few times more.

Thanks Club Lexus for wonderful instructions!

Also this instruction I found online on Aisin A761E transmission is very clear and helpful.

Had to get this from Home Depot though. Room was a bit tight down there.

Timing belt also done! 15 year old belt out! But I chickened out at the job and took it to stealership. They did a good job though at the dealer and I have to say the dealer is nice.

Now this thing is baselined at least.

Will start restoring process. Paint work and some leather/interior work.

I want to punch previous owners though.
