Default '02 with Odd Options (For Lower 48 States)

Hello Everyone,

I've been on the hunt for an '01 - '03 UL and in my journey I found something unique for many of us. I ended up buying a car closer to me but wanted to point this out to the group of people who would appreciate it. I have nothing to do with the car or dealer.

2002 LS430 / Blue Vapor Metallic / Black Interior / Ultra Luxury **Without Nav**. I know this was common in Canada / Hawaii but it's a rare bird here in the lower 48.

Even more interesting it is the first car that I couldn't get the Lexus Drivers site to show any records, can't even lookup the car.

For someone that wants the UL and has the desire to put in a modern double din radio this is the ticket.

I also got a kick out of the climate control, upper right corner you will find the controls for the rear ac. Neat.

I hope this helps someone or at least is fun to look at.

James

Lexus vehicles in Hawaii are distributed by Servco Pacific instead of the Lexus division of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. which is why you aren't finding records on the Lexus Drivers site. There's no connection between Servco and TMC.

Jim,

Thank you for that, it makes sense once you explained it but I wouldn't have gotten there on my own.

We corresponded when I was on the hunt for my '98 LS400 with air suspension back in 2006, you provided equally helpful and interesting information related to the optioning packages. I appreciate the knowledge you share.

Enjoy your weekend!
