agree, read the owners manual for the Gulf countries, very simple. If it says 20w-50 then use that, what somebody recommends here in the US is irrelevant and just guesses.

I think in midwest US manual is 5-30. Soooo just changed oil today plus rotate, balance 3 wheels, alignment check(these LS's hold alignments a long time) brought in pennzoil 5-30 syn HM payed for filter and shop supplies. I am just currently pushing 200k (197,600) on my second LS have run 5-30 for 5-7 k miles synthetic no allegiance really but valvoline then pennzoil. No smoke no knocks no oil consumption. Kind of easy the engine is the least thing to worry about. Rocket proof if follow manual. Oh ya they like me $21.06.
